Antarean Dragons are peaceful creatures shrouded in mystery. They are primarily found in the desert where they get most of their energy from sunbathing. Their most notable traits are their highly reflective manes and the mysterious light emitted by their scales which fades from bright, nearly blinding yellow-white into dim red as the dragons get older. Legend claims that they are otherworldly beings that came to this world when a meteor struck.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

This dragon loves the look and feel of adobe bricks. He has spent many years lining his entire lair and extending it with them. He stays nicely cool on super hot days and reasonably warm on cold nights when snug in his adobe brick lair.

More than once, his lair entrance has been mistaken by travelers for a hacienda. They are generally much startled to be greeted by the dragon's inquisitive face when they ride up to it. Survivors were polite to him; rude or combative approachers are not generally seen again.
