White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

However, not all white dragons possess the everlasting fountains of patience that are often associated with a stereotypical healer. Bargier is one such example. While she is usually willing to help the severely injured or sick she meets, she has little tolerance for the younger hatchlings who line up in large numbers to complain about scrapes and bruises. In an effort to curb her frustration at them, Bargier invented a special kind of magic for exactly those situations, which later became her trademark: a spell which conjures up some very impressive-looking coloured lights but doesn't physically affect the recipient in any way. This "placebo spell" has proven remarkably effective at treating minor aches, pains and hypochondria.
