Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Tonks - as she prefers to be called - has a very, very rare affliction: Her scales and eyes change colour according to her mood. Her teacher believes this can be traced back to the fact, that her mother experimented with transfiguration magic, when she still held Nyphadora's egg in her own body, and one such experiment changed the developing embryo.

So every dragon can tell what emotions are currently running through her mind, as the corresponding colours run over her hide: red when she's angry, yellow when she's confused and even purple when she's frightened. Since Tonks is a very happy and curious dragon, she mostly displays the colour associated with that state of mind - the pure orange that looks exactly like the natural shade of most Magis.
