White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Gabriel is a gentle spirit, like most of his breed. He is kind, and even helps Melek with healing the many injuries of the cave's hatchlings. However, because he spends so much time with Melek, his soft heart has fallen in love with her. Unfortunately, Melek is deeply in love with Hazan, the Autumn dragon, as she has been since before Gabriel was even born. Gabriel is not one to stir conflict, and he knows Melek is happy, and so he has kept silent about his feelings for many years. Still, he can't hide the fact that he does feel quite a bit of tenderness towards the beautiful Melek, which Hazan has picked up on.
