Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Swyfterra has long been recognized as the leader of the Fcuadj territory, one of the Clan's seven lands. Her speed is unrivaled and her sharp senses unparalleled. Though smaller than many of her Clanmates, Swyfterra is fierce, quick, and sharp-witted. Many consider her harsh, but really she simply does not tolerate nonsense or incompetence. She has little interest in hatchlings themselves but is always concerned with the welfare and affairs of her territory. She is quick to attack and to retaliate, and one should never get on her bad side.
