Ochredrakes are a curious species with a wide array of mutations and interesting behaviors. Not as intelligent as normal dragons, they only breed with other drake species. While they may not be bright, ochredrakes are flamboyant and fun-loving with amazing, chirping voices to sing with, and tame readily in the presence of a gentle hand.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

Peery is a very graceful, yet playful dragon. She keeps more to herself. She has a hidden cave up in the mountains. She enjoys the mountains, the fresh air, the quietness, and the untouched beauty of it. Her cave is near a babbling brook, overflowing with fresh water. The cave in itself is breathtaking. It has a few gems encrusted in the walls, and there are a couple of aspens she likes to perch in outside. Inside the cave, it is medium sized, and she has made herself a nest made out of moss and grass. She loves to listen to the faint dripping of water amongst the stalagmites and stalactites, and the cave is a good place to practice singing, as the notes echo throughout the cave. She is quite talkative sometimes, although there are few dragons around in the mountains, and she has such a beautiful chirp. Prey abounds where she lives, and there is tall grass and wildflowers. She is quiet most of the time, and is very thoughtful. She is wise and intelligent.
