White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Idealist was born a very intelligent dragon. She journeyed to an island with a castle in ruins on top of it because she heard rumors that it housed other smart and peaceful dragons. She attempted to read the old books that were in the abandoned library, but she had horrible eyesight. She couldn't make out any of the letters on a page. One day, she found two round pieces of glass attached to each other by a wire. She cleaned the dust off of them and held them close to her eyes to see them better. When she looked through the glass, a miracle happened. She could see everything better. Idealist played with the wire till it fit over her snout. Since she found the miracle glass, she has begun learning how to read from the Paper Dragon, Ink-Blot. Some of the other dragons tease her for wearing the goofy thing on her face, but she pays no attention to them.
