Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Silver females eat meat only when a male dragon brings it to them as part of courtship, though they are typically highly-independent. They possess an almost magical aura that lights up any place they are in, and are looked upon with awe by humans and animals alike.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Cuimira's skin is soft to the touch as her shining scales form a lustrous protective cover, pink frills laying smoothly over her spine. Her long elegant neck, slender body and slim tail set her apart from her Guardian siblings, and her deep purple eyes show an intelligent spirit within.

Worried as her parents were about their first and only Silver girl after five Guardian sons, Cuimira grew up in a very protected environment. Acrobatic and elegant, she caught many a young male's eye, but shy and musing as she was she would have none of them. Until one day she escaped her father's watchful eye and strolling past the borders of the clan's land she stumbled upon Macan Mac Dhealain. However, for a long time a feud existed between Cuimira's father Shoogle and Macan's father Dealan, preventing her from meeting her lover once more. Finally her eldest brother established a long-desired peace through shrewd negotiations, clearing the path for the two young lovers.
