Cavern Lurker Dragons are nocturnal ambush predators. Although small, they are very aggressive and will attack anything weak enough to be overpowered. Their preferred method of hunting is to lie in wait in a cave, burrow, or other small, enclosed space; when any potential prey passes they will lunge out to grab hold of the unsuspecting victim and drag it back into the lair. Cavern Lurkers have an odd aversion to sunlight and almost never venture out during the day. More commonly sighted are the odd piles of bones they stack near the entrance to their dens. Their mating call is a low-pitched bumping noise.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Runick, the eldest son of Mundragada the Fierce, used to be a powerful and proud beast. Large for his age and species, he was responsible for the well-being of his three brothers and was recognised as the strongest creature in the cavern his family had occupied for generations. He would have lived the rest of his short life quietly hadn't it been for a specific winter night. Normally Runick would never approach and enter human territory but after facing issues with the availability of food in the winter the brothers were running out of time. The youngest's idea had brought them there, as they needed man-made items. They entered the village soundly, their target a dimly lit carpentry. They faced no obstacles as the village was strangely empty. But as they went in deeper and deeper what they found were not materials, but the definition of terror in living flesh, which would later carve itself in their hearts and minds, stripping them off their names, and leaving them in eternal distress.
