Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Sir William is the king of the Yarifa clan. A moderate enemy of the Sadaro clan, ruled by Sir Charlemagne, he had to fight his way into earning the throne. Battling through at least five other dragons in line, he never killed any of them but let them escape with their lives and a lower title. He has held the throne for a few years now, and his fellow dragons have now found respect for him, except one. His one and only love, RenRang the White Lady, rejected his many proposals and refused to have anything to do with him. He still attempts to strive to her favor, still failing miserably each time.
