Sunrise Dragons are closely related to sunset dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunrise Dragons prefer to live in large groups and enjoy basking in the early morning sun. They are usually most active in the morning, and go to sleep in the early evening.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Prince Ingway is one of the more politically active members of the clan. Since the clan is always expanding, they need more territory to live in. Ingway is the one that usually advices which areas are the best for taking over, taking note of how many human settlements and other dragon clans are nearby and what natural resources, such as rivers and hunting grounds, are included.

Ingway also deals with disgruntled dragons from other territories, perhaps upset with the clan encroaching further into their land or caught pressing their attentions on the females during mating season. Ingway can normally deal with such disputes on his own, but he will not hesitate to summon the black dragons for aid if need be.
