Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

This gray dragon is named after two goddesses, Artio, celtic goddess of the wild and Balor, celtic goddess with a venomous eye.

She is a hot tempered dragon who loves to get into fights yet as tough as she seems she has a soft heart. Although she may be rude at times she is just acting out because she was abandoned as a egg and has trust issues. Within her home there are very few she trusts and she often gets in arguments with the others. During these arguments (mostly with the newcomers), Balor goes into a rage and storms out the cave. To calm herself Balor will either, search for a storm to soothe her or will conjure one to put her at ease. Balor's soft heart gives when she spots abandoned dragons in the main cave. She tends to go collect abandoned eggs and hatchlings to bring them to her sisters to be cared for. Very few have seen the tender side of Balor with the exception to her sisters and Alejo Dracul who seems to be her best friend.
