Thunder Dragons are the masters of electricity. Their wings gather energy as they soar through the clouds, and when they clap their wings together they can create devastating arcs of lightning. They can stay airborne nearly indefinitely, landing only to sleep and breed; they catch their prey from the air and take moisture from the clouds. A thunder dragon’s roar is considered to be an omen of misfortune.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
"You see, I was going to be an Ice, but ah..." This dragon seems to believe that she was destined to be an ice, but that somehow she became a thunder instead. She's even made up an outlandish tale about how she was turned from an ice egg into a thunder egg: apparently, when she was young, a whirling cloud descended from the sky and sucked her up from her nest, tossing her about in the air high above even the highest mountains! There, she saw things like giant balls of ice and snow crystals as big as her. Soon, the clouds became heavy, and the giant ice-balls, with her along, started to fall towards the earth in what she calls "the biggest hailstorm in forever". But before she could reach the ground, a bolt of lightning reached out and hit her egg, changing her into a thunder! That is how she became a thunder egg, and although many do not believe it, they all have to agree on one thing: it's ridiculous, it's impossible, but most of all, it's quite...shocking.
