Mint colored dragons are the most peaceful of all dragons; they only eat plants unless they scavenge meat from an already dead animal. They also have no ways to attack others or defend themselves. They are much smaller than other forms of dragons since they only double in size when they mature. Mint dragons are unable to use magic and cannot fly since they lack wings. Their looks have given rise to the common insult of calling dragons “large lizards.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Vaita...well, she can't be exactly considered parent of the year. She and her mate had a rather odd mishap with their babysitter quite some time ago when she sent Vaita and Tov home with the wrong hatchling: a hellfire of all things.

What's worse is that Vaita and Tov didn't demand for their real son back. Instead they passively accepted the hellfire as their own. It was Vaita's bright idea to turn the hellfire, Voulu, into their guard dog of a son. They readjusted his mindset and he became pacifistic and shy as a mint.

Despite his big scary visage, Vaita came to truly love Voulu as her son. He was far gentler and sweeter than she ever thought such a vicious breed of dragon could be. His appearance into her life changed her attitudes toward other dragons ever so slightly; she is no longer so quick to condemn them just because they don't sport mint green scales. Oh, she's still prejudiced but it's lessened.
