And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Weak is a terribly tiny hatchling, even smaller than Snuggle, the previous dwarf. He can barely do anything for himself, due to his size, and always has to rely on getting help from others. Luckily, Sojo and Chall have stepped in as surrogate parents for him, and the two adult pygmies can often be seen zipping about here and there to help him out. Weak's become quite spoiled as a result, and he's now a tiny bit of a braggart.
