Anagallis Dragons are a medium-sized omnivorous breed. Widespread and adaptable, their easygoing nature enables them to flourish under most conditions. They are social creatures, fun-loving and outgoing, and will readily defend smaller dragons from others’ aggression. They are fond of sunshine, and can often be found basking on rocks; on cloudy or stormy days they are more reluctant to venture out, and will often hide themselves away until the weather is more favorable.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Outgoing and socially adept, Aisatsu accompanies the shyer hatchlings when the Sylvain family goes out to social events to meet with other clans. He keeps careful track of names and conversations, and is in general a good connection facilitator between the younger dragons in the family. While Aisatsu doesn't think too much of high-class etiquette, he steadfastly believes in the importance of mingling and having a good time meeting new acquaintances. It makes him immeasurably happy every time he sees one of his charges become confident enough to start approaching others on their own.
