Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

The long, winding dragon hovered far above the cave, wings beating the thick and heavy air as he held his position in the storm clouds. Beads of moisture formed and rolled down his tough hide, and a smile curled his scaly lips. This would be a symphony, truly, a symphony of the storm. He raised his arms and loosed a roar, which blended with the many other Storm dragons', creating fierce thunder as lightning ripped the sky asunder. He loved the storm, loved the sky—how very well it suited his thunderous temper! Passionate but short-tempered, like the summer rain—he loved what he was, and loved all his brothers. All his furies seemed to wash away when it rained like this.
