Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

The Cave is life, as the lives of all dragons begin at the Cave. This law in the nature of dragons was no different for Rhonomith; and like the multitude of dragons who came before, Rhonomith's mother journeyed to the Cave to bear her eggs. However, his mother abandoned her clutch and departed. This left the Magi defenseless before having even hatched. Yet, he was spared a tragic end and as a logical and highly intelligent dragon, he can not quite bring himself to believe in luck and chance. He strives to see purpose in the world, and believes his purpose is to protect others just as he was protected from abandonment by a human.

Rhonomith grew into a formidable dragon and was given a name by the human. Now, Rhonomith presides over a colony of dragons far to the south of the Cave. Only one human is allowed among them, the human who saved and named him, and he is a fierce and bold leader. Having never taken on a mate, he devotes his strengths and wisdom to the survival of the colony.
