Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It glows with some form of arcane energy.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Eurynome is a dainty magi hatchling.  She was caught in a misdirected spell and will never get larger than her current size.  Although some have difficulties adjusting to the stunted growth, it doesn't seem to bother Eurynome.  She spends most of her time as her mother's silent shadow, quietly following behind as her mother practices her arts and hunts truffles.
