Waterhorse Dragons received their name due to their horse-like physique and endearing behavior. They are capable of surviving out of water, and when on land their skin secretes a gelatinous goo to retain moisture. However, their large paddle feet are better suited for swimming, and waterhorse dragons tend to move very awkwardly when on land. Waterhorses are very friendly dragons and enjoy playing with humans.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Unlike most of his breed, Underwater Trekkie actually spends a great deal of time above water. Originally he came above water because he wanted to be able to hear stories since he had already heard all of the tales that his underwater world had to offer. Then he met Shining and had even more incentive to stay on land. Trekkie's stories are about the future and Shining often has to endure long descriptions of the latest story that he has heard. He is usually upbeat and cheerful, but one day Altair Nightmare was really laying into him about his 'obsession' as he was listening to a story, watching it play out in the water in front of him with his magic. It wasn't the first time, and finally he snapped and sent Altair into the world of Star Trek. He had then needed the help of Aleksandr to get the troublemaker back out.
