Horse Dragons have equine-shaped bodies and hooves instead of claws, which allow them to be fast runners. They specialize in running takeoffs, which are quicker than taking off from a stand-still. Horse dragons are able to stalk their prey from the ground then quickly execute an aerial attack for the kill.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Maneetarr is a very picky eater: she will only eat big buff human warriors, preferably stupid ones. She doesn't like to fight very much and probably couldn't win against her prey in a battle of force. So, she has put together a very good hunting method:  she will pose as a gift from the gods, using telepathy to imitate a divine voice, then she will kneel for her prey to climb onto her back, and take of. After a series of aerial acrobatics, if the victim isn't dead yet, she will fly through a water fall or a bunch of brambles. She doesn't mind if her food is wet or all scratched up, but she prefers her meals shaken to death.
