Nhiostrife Wyverns are one of the few known breeds of wyvern with more than one set of wings. Because of their four wings, Nhiostrifes are very nimble in the air and control their movements with ease. When it’s mating season, males put on a very beautiful and unique air dance in an attempt to charm a female. The amount of stripes on their wings vary, with more stripes being more attractive, although most have only two to four. Their general attitude is very passive and curious—they only fight if they or their families are in danger.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Cecil is part of a small, tight-knit group of Nhiostrifes living in a remote desert valley hidden up in the mountains. This remote vale is a place of strange occurrences and even stranger dragons and they have little to no contact to the outside world. It's suspiciously similar to another community in a far-off dragon clan.

Few dragons actually know what Cecil looks like. They assume that the Nhio is male, however Cecil just as well may be a female with a deep, alluring voice. Every evening at a scheduled time, Cecil's telepathic broadcast about the day's events, news, and upcoming weather enters their heads and entrances them. It always ends with a reassuring (or not-so reassuring) "good night". Because no one has ever seen Cecil with the exception of Carlos, many of the dragons have their own ideas about what the reporter may look like. Two eyes or three; five stripes or ten; male or female. Regardless of Cecil's appearance, their broadcasts are an integral part of the community.
