Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It is so full of energy that you have a hard time keeping up with it.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Amaia is a small, but wise little dragon. She has been alive for centuries. She has been witness to countless events. She could tell people things they would never hear anywhere else. She is a mystery though. Even if one does see her chances are that she will only speak in riddles and puzzles. Most creatures when they meet her are surprised by her laughter. A lot wonder why she is laughing. She may be old but she still pretty much has the spirit of a child. How a dragon can have a child's spirit but an elder's mind is what most wonder about. It truly confuses most creatures.
