Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Rhekoro has been trained in the art of battle since the day he came out of his egg. He relishes combat, and spent most of his younger years searching for any who'd challenge him. Even now, well into adulthood, he spends most of his time perfecting his fighting skills, and training his offspring as warriors. His mate is a white dragon named Luna, who's known him since childhood and still works very hard to keep him out of trouble. Most of the other cavemembers view him with a sort of muted respect, as he was one of the first to take up residence. As far as it concerns the cats that take care of the dragons' cave, he's tolerable as long as he doesn't take any of his fights home with him.
