Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Fast, agile, and sure-footed, Fleta runs everywhere. She is like a streak of lightning, there one minute and gone the next, a ball of energy that never seems to dissipate. She considers her wings to be a hindrance, however, and although she would prefer not to have them they do have their uses. By folding them in such a way, Fleta can become even more aerodynamic, like an arrow flying through the air. She often adopts this position during flight to allow her to gather even more speed for a short distance.

Fleta is also highly aggressive. When speed fails her (although it rarely does), her sharp teeth, talons and whiplike tail are often enough to make her enemies think twice before messing with her.
