Albino Dragons are so named because their translucent, scale-less skin lacks all pigment. Instead, to help protect their bodies from the sun, they are coated in an oily secretion that blocks the sun’s harmful rays. The call of an albino dragon is similar to a barn owl--a shriek instead of a roar.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Himeiko has always been fascinated by the beauty arts of humans, especially the use of cosmetics to color different parts of the face. This earned her some amount of skepticism, as most dragons, naturally, have no use for these feature-highlighting paints and potions as they can use illusory magic to project appearances if they desire. Nevertheless, Himeiko spends a decent amount of time with human servants and artists learning of the different types of makeup used to beautify one's visage, and attempts to make her own equivalents using ingredients found in nature. Although she has yet to convince many older dragons to try out her inventions, she's garnered a substantial following of adolescent hatchlings who enjoy having her paint decorative designs on their faces, using paints made from crushed up mana crystals and plants.
