Mint colored dragons are the most peaceful of all dragons; they only eat plants unless they scavenge meat from an already dead animal. They also have no ways to attack others or defend themselves. They are much smaller than other forms of dragons since they only double in size when they mature. Mint dragons are unable to use magic and cannot fly since they lack wings. Their looks have given rise to the common insult of calling dragons “large lizards.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

As mischievous and candid as the Jack of tales, Jack ThuDusk lives his life afoot and never still.  If there's an adventure or even a good story to be found, you can bet Jack will find it and inspire bawdy tavern songs in his wake.

Jack, wanderer that he is, has two mates.  One is Marrissa, a guardian because his parents always insisted he follow the family tradition of mints mating guardians, but she has since found a guardian mate of her own and doesn't see Jack as much.  The other is Red Hott Dorkface, an unlikely combination of mint and magma if there ever was one.  Though at first glance a very awkward pairing, Jack is sweet on the somber behemoth and Red Hott is fond of her dear, fearless little friend.  Quite how many laws of physics they break when mating is unknown at this time.
