Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

UltravioletChild is an Ultraviolet Dragon hatchling who is the darling of her cave. Everyone in her cave just adores her, she is so sweet and cute. It is hard not to like her, because she is always so nice to everyone. UltravioletChild is also very caring, she really wants to know how someone is feeling and she's willing to help mentally talk about anyone's problems and try to work through it.
