Pink Dragons are primarily herbivores and only eat meat during the mating season, when mates will exchange kills. When it is not breeding season, pink dragons spend most of their time incubating eggs and caring for their clan’s young. Due to their feminine color, it was traditionally thought that pink dragons were a strictly female breed, but this is not true.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Morgavell HeartTip (after the gemstone: Morganite) entered the clan cave as the 178th member, much to the delight and happiness of the entire clan cave. True to her species, she is gentle, warm and kind to all those around her, but especially to the younglings of the Mystal Clan. She spends hour after hour tending to the egglings, carefully touching the top of each shell with the heart shaped tip of her delicate tail. Some of the clan dragons speculate about her actions; while the others of her kind use their gifts sparingly, she bestows her touch to one and all, time and time again! She believes that, like a kiss or a sweet flower, just one simply will not do, and that with each contact, her gift strengthens that much more. The Clan Mother has wondered if perhaps she is hoping to promote a clan full of females, but the clan elders have assured her that certainly could not be her intention. Perhaps! Whatever her objective, it is without malice, at least, the male dragons all hope!
