Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

When Prisoner of Love and Loyalty was a hatchling his owner tried to abandon him twice. He came back both times. Moved, his owner promised him that he would never again have a heartbreaking experience like that again. But she forgot. Just a few months after his maturing the storm dragon that had adopted him and loved him as a father would a son was released because he was inbred. Prisoner of Love and Loyalty longed to take to the air and follow his makeshift father but his deeply rooted loyalty to his owner continues on. His owner, again promising to heal his heart, says that she will find him a mate. Any other dragon would be doubtful but Prisoner of Love and Loyalty's virtuous devotion will never fade.
