Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

DancingWonder is a graceful and beautiful dragon. She is looked at by all of the bachelor males of her clan but has a strong urge never to mate. This is because she believe that she could do so much more good to the world if she is not tied down by the responsibility of mate and offspring. This does not stop her admirers and she stick receives anonymous gifts of prey and flowers.  Females of the cave respond to her presence quite differently. While the males want to be with her for her beauty and skill, the females want to be with her because of the way the males swarm around her. They hope to be chosen by a approaching male. Because of all the commotion around her she prefers to spend her time alone.
