Witchlight Dragons are silent, secretive beasts that haunt the most remote corners of the wilderness. They beguile their unsuspecting prey into peril by assaulting their perceptions of reality and stoking the fires of paranoia with masterfully-conjured illusions. Unwary travelers have been led astray by the soft, inviting glow of their eyes amidst a sea of encroaching darkness, never to be seen again. Those that survive a Witchlight Dragon’s psychic onslaughts do not escape unchanged: some believe that the apparitions these dragons summon to tempt or torment their victims awaken them to hidden truths about themselves.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Secretive, powerful, cunning, yet honorable: this Witchlight dragon is befitting the image of "Heiress of Witchery". However, it's not a name but a mere title, crafted from the memories of parents she barely knew. The Heiress knows well that names have power, and thus guards her hard-earned name closely.

Seperated from her family before they granted her a name, the Heiress spent years searching for one. She tried to create names but they did not stick. She tried to steal names but they did not fit.

One day, when she was about to steal the name of a foolish Pumpkin Dragon, she decided to borrow it instead. The two then traveled together, facing hardships and learning joy.

It was on these travels that the Heiress chose her name. It was made true when it was echoed by her new friend.

The austere presence of this Witchlight is cold and off-putting to some, but it is easily softened by the warm glow of friendship and loyalty.
