Nhiostrife Wyverns are one of the few known breeds of wyvern with more than one set of wings. Because of their four wings, Nhiostrifes are very nimble in the air and control their movements with ease. When it’s mating season, males put on a very beautiful and unique air dance in an attempt to charm a female. The amount of stripes on their wings vary, with more stripes being more attractive, although most have only two to four. Their general attitude is very passive and curious—they only fight if they or their families are in danger.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Leann is part of a small, tight-knit group of Nhiostrifes living in a remote desert valley hidden up in the mountains. This remote vale is a place of strange occurrences and even stranger dragons and they have little to no contact to the outside world.

Her own role is the daily distribution of news to all members of the community. She is rather old fashioned when it comes to ways to deliver these news and insists on only using inscriptions into stone tablets. Those are hard to produce especially on a daily basis so she never manages more than one copy each day. Dragons have to approach the huge inscripted pillar physically and pay a tiny admission fee. Lately there have been voices to try for paper editions or a magically enhanced telepathic web, but every dragon talking about something like that has later been found with broken wings or not at all.

Leann knows NOTHING about this of course.
