Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Christmas' Silvermoon is quite literally 'a shining example' of a kind dragon. Every Christmas, he visits the groups of abandoned dragon hatchlings and provides them with food and warmth. He does this with abandoned eggs too. He spends time with them and gives them the gift of joy and company through the gloriously merry time that is Christmas. Just seeing their happy smiles is enough to bring him back every year...
