As the nocturnal relative to Sunbeam Drakes, Moonglow Drakes are a secretive breed most active under the light of the moons and stars. They are wary of others, but are known to have incredible loyalty should their trust be won. Catching sight of Moonglow Drakes as they dance amid the moonlight is seen as a favorable omen by those they live near, and tamed individuals are common. They are slightly smaller than their cousins, averaging around the size of a cat.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

Killer, as guessed by his name, likes to kill small animals for fun and food at night. He is called a pest to the people of the village he lives near, scaring there livestock and killing chickens. During the day he resides in a large abandoned barn at the top of a cliff near the village. During the full moon and new moon he flies to the tallest mountain top and watches the sky and stars, wondering what lies just beyond there bright glow. He dreams of love and wonders if he will ever find it.
