Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
The oldest and first Black of the horde, Orleth is quite whimsical. He's well past his youth, as Leikarah is, and the two were once quasi-rivals. He's quite a hothead with a silver tongue, and is able to charm his way into the hearts of many, even though he's very reclusive. Orleth hates being lied to, and he won't forgive you if you do try to deceive him. He's pretty good at sniffing out lies, too, so good luck trying to pull the wool over his eyes.
Orleth is best at looking at the big picture rather than all the little details, and as a result, he can often roll right over others with no apparent regard for their emotions or well-being. It's not that he doesn't care, he really does--it's just that he's trying to make things better in the long run. Despite this, he's often pitched as a bad guy and is somewhat reviled, which has led him to develop a sort of martyr complex. He'd gladly sacrifice himself for anybody, just so long as they were working towards the good of everyone.
