Failed attempts to experiment with magic often result in transforming dragons into these hellish creatures. They are extremely dangerous, and will mindlessly kill any living creature without regard to friend or foe.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Behold, seeker of the dragon lore, Topasis of the Zombie dragons. He was born in the hot desert sands together with his hatch brother Turmalinis. Both were named for the gem stone the turquoise of their scales resembled closest. While his hatch brother found a constant mate in one Topasis' own daughters, Topasis himself never found a constant mate for more than a few mating seasons, and was finally driven away from their birth territory by Turmalinis. Wandering the desert alone, Topasis was attacked by other Spitfires again and again. One of his many wounds became infected, resulting in the dragon's death. The dead body had been lying in the sun for a few hours when a White dragon appeared. It was very young still and did not understand the meaning of death or the limits of its healing powers, and thus tried to heal the dead Topasis. The result was rather horrifying, and the White dragon fled in fear, when Topasis reared his head again, neither dead, nor alive, but undead.
