Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Sathurite has had a rough hatchling phase, he was on the brink of death when the fabled child of dragons had found him. She was out on her usual search for new dragon friends with a couple dragons escorting her to keep her company and to keep her safe. Yagete the White Dragon read the urgency of the situation for poor Sathurite, his sugar levels were dangerously low for a Sweetling especially one of his age, Yagete performed a magical spell to bring him back to health; however, the adverse affects of the spell curses him to remain forever young. Sathurite was grateful for their efforts to give him a second lease on life and has followed the child of dragons back to their home cave, where a utopia of sweet fruits and honey-filled flowers surrounded for the tiny Sweetling to indulge. He lives his life to the fullest enjoying as many activities he can participate in with the other dragons and hatchlings, he was easily accepted into the ever-growing family.
