Ochredrakes are a curious species with a wide array of mutations and interesting behaviors. Not as intelligent as normal dragons, they only breed with other drake species. While they may not be bright, ochredrakes are flamboyant and fun-loving with amazing, chirping voices to sing with, and tame readily in the presence of a gentle hand.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

Tsero the Ochredrake was one of the first dragons adopted on The Island of Dragon Cave, and was quite the handful as a hatchling. He usually avoids other dragons, preferring not to hunt or fly in front of them, rather, he prefers staying on the ground or by his master, or both. He has a strange fascination with shiny objects, having a collection of metals, jewels, and other shiny things in his roost. He's usually quiet around strangers, whether people, animals, or other dragons, but around his master he's playful, loving to tug their hair and clothes, rolling on his back so they can rub his belly, sometimes he's even allowed to sleep in their room, curled up on their bed, head resting next to them as he sleeps.
