Coastal Waverunners spend most of their time skimming the waves along the coast, snatching up their prey from the shallow waters. They have developed markings along the leading edges of their body that help disguise them as breaking waves. When they are not hunting, they enjoy playing among sand-dunes and shallow tide-pools. These dragons live in small but noisy rookeries. Some stories say Waverunners can fly for days on end without landing.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

FoamingOcean is a arrogant, sarcastic little beast who never seems to care about what the other dragons think or say. She has created huge messes that the other dragons warned her about but, of course, she paid no attention to them. Soaking wet and limping, she has arrived into the cave only to snap at them and grouchily accept the help of a healer dragon. Warnings about going too close the the hurtling ocean waves and sharp rocks have come and been ignored so many times that now she very rarely gets them. Her wings are scarred and torn because of her getting washed up by the waves and snagged on the rocks. Of course it is not her fault, or so she says. She should have been watched, warned, or helped when she screamed. Unfortunately her favorite place to skim the waves is desolate and rough so that not the bravest dragons go there. Will she ever learn The other dragons don;t think so.
