Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Ever since it hatched, it has been hiding among the tree leaves.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

TropicalWonder is a Neotropical Dragon hatchling who loves to gamble. She spends most of her time playing Dragon Dice with CliffOfGeode. They are best friends because they are so alike. TropicalWonder isn't very lucky, and often loses. But she keeps coming back for those few times she gets perfect wins. She usually ends up owing CliffOfGeode a lot of berries, so it is lucky TropicalWonder knows of many wild berry bushes. TropicalWonder doesn't care much for berries anyway, she's much happier to be rolling the dice.
