Avatars of Change are unpredictable, exuberant dragons whose unique connection to magic has saturated their entire bodies. It is said that possessing one of their iridescent scales can change one’s fate, and many have sought the favor of these dragons hoping to receive a scale as a gift.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

The scent of roses on the wind is a sign that change has come; a fresh breeze after a bitter storm, a warm spring after a bitter cold, children's laughter after a month of mourning. This dragon is both the herald and the cause of those changes, a creature of endless mirth and radiant affection who travels on swift wings to bring good to places that have known much evil. With a magic strong enough to match her convictions, she has turned the lives of many in better directions, but not everything is as easy as a smile. A vile beast haunts her steps, breathing decay and whispering lust, seeking to destroy both her and all she has created. Only her own strong heart--and the loyalty of good friends--will prevent him from claiming what he desires, a force that represents all that is good joining arms to stop all that is not.
