Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It glows with some form of arcane energy.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

It was Flyingfire's dream to become a Queen and raise her own young. She even already had her name. But as her death or adulthood came closer and she was still a hatchling, she changed her path. Flyingfire became a Medicine Dragon Apprentice. She, like a white dragon, can of course use magic, and although she does not specialize in healing magic, she is a fast learner. Flyingfire is gentle and sweet, though a little scatterbrained. She still loves young, non frozen hatchlings and eggs, but she has found a new way to help her cave.
