When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Pepuri is a master onomatopoet. Just about every noise that humans would describe by imitating, she can make—and does, since she is constantly honing her craft. Her river is known for the strange splashes, gurgles, glugs, and thrums that emanate from its waters. Travelers are often concerned about such a noisy body of water, but Pepuri is a very gentle dragon. She is very conscientious about sharing the water with swimmers, though sometimes she gets carried away when she's composing a little song out of pops, tail-slaps, rumbles, and thrumming. She is still embarrassed about the one time she accidentally hit a boy during one of these, even though its been almost a century, and anyways she managed to rescue the unfortunate swimmer.
