Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Once upon a time, a trading vessel carrying ivory, precious metals and rare spices was swept drastically off course by a fierce autumn storm. As the crew tried reefing the sails lest more damage was done to sail and mast, a final gust of wind tore it apart, leaving the ship at the mercy of the storm. Sailors and ship alike were helplessly carried north by the storm, until a massive wave suddenly hit them and drove the ship to the bottom of the sea. Not long after, three bright orange eggs were discovered upon a beach close by.

Xolan was one of these three, although unlike Xedrin and Xona he never took to the cold and rainy country called Alba as they did. His body yearns for the feel of hot sand scouring his scales, even though he has never experienced it; he dreams about long stretches of desert with nothing but burning sun above. Sadly, he is very insecure, terrified of the unknown and daren't make the journey back home all alone. Much safer to stay with Xedrin and Xona.
