Cavern Lurker Dragons are nocturnal ambush predators. Although small, they are very aggressive and will attack anything weak enough to be overpowered. Their preferred method of hunting is to lie in wait in a cave, burrow, or other small, enclosed space; when any potential prey passes they will lunge out to grab hold of the unsuspecting victim and drag it back into the lair. Cavern Lurkers have an odd aversion to sunlight and almost never venture out during the day. More commonly sighted are the odd piles of bones they stack near the entrance to their dens. Their mating call is a low-pitched bumping noise.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Once a quiet cave lurker, Wingaza, as he used to be known, was the youngest of four brothers. He was a terrible hunter but made up for it with his superior intellect. He was the one who thought of creating a simple system of traps inside his and his brothers' cavern in order to easily capture wandering and lost creatures. But the plan proved to be far too complex and non-realistic as the dragons were lacking any objects to accomplish it. It was Wingaza who proposed they go to the neighboring human village to search for usable items. And so they did. The drakes went, accompanied by the night as their only friend and ally, to what would eventually turn out to be the worst mistake they ever made. What happened that night would be spoken of for centuries, as it triggered events that brought true fear in the hearts of both humans and dragons alike, and would bring four brothers in a state of desolation, earning them, finally, names of pain and destruction.
