Ochredrakes are a curious species with a wide array of mutations and interesting behaviors. Not as intelligent as normal dragons, they only breed with other drake species. While they may not be bright, ochredrakes are flamboyant and fun-loving with amazing, chirping voices to sing with, and tame readily in the presence of a gentle hand.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

Freedom within is a lazy, not so smart dragon but still really friendly. He can be also very annoying when he is singing... his type actually has a very special and beautiful voice but unfortunately he seems to be an exception. Still his kind of stupid and clumsy actions make him adorable in the eyes of most of his dragon friends. He also tries to help with the hatchlings and eggs but the females always chase him away so he doesn't break or hurt the eggs and baby dragons with his clumsy actions. His best friend is the pink male Hanataru who he really looks up to and follows like he is his leader. He and Hanataru always chase after younger female dragons and make their teachers, Shashiro's live much more difficult.
