Wary of all strangers, the elusive Amalthean Dragons cloak themselves in mist to avoid detection. The water sources they live near are astonishingly clear and pure, and have been found to contain medicinal properties. These dragons are known for their ability to cure any disease, wound, or poison, as well as the purification of any water they come across. A blessing from an Amalthean Dragon is said to increase longevity, though they are very selective of who they will heal. An Amalthean’s horn grows from the same wood as a White Dragon’s staff and is highly sought after for its ability to channel and store potent life magic.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Not one to be set back by failure, Ayrcorn is going to walk across the surface of the Madder River eventually. His mother said that when he grew up he could be anything he wanted, and right now, he has his heart set on being a telekinetic boat. He spent a few years trying to be a tree, and managed to grow lots of leaves on his horn, but once he achieved treedom he decided to move on and become a rhinoceros. Charging blindly through the Madder Jungle led to many concussions, but as everyone agrees he didn't have much of a brain to start with, no permanent brain damage could result. Both his parents are reasonably intelligent, so he must have started with a brain that someone promptly stole. Due to Ayrcorn's current nautical desire, The Madder Jungle Hatter tried teaching him how to walk on water, but despite a water affinity he has failed to learn the technique. At least he makes the Madder River remarkably pure and safe despite all the shenanigans that happen in and around its waters.
