Aww... It’s a cute baby drake. It seems to like you, although it is very hyperactive and difficult to train.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young drakes are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own.

This Drake's name comes from the Welsh word for "energetic", and indeed, she hasn't sat still a day in her life! She's very flighty, and easily distracted. She's also not the brightest Hatchling, and things usually have to be explained to her more than once. Keeping up with her is exhausting, and her caretakers usually set up shifts to keep an eye on this giddy little Hatchling. All else aside, she's very sweet, and always thinks the best of people. She tries to make friends with everyone she meets.
