Guardian Dragons have large shields on the end of their tails. Although the shields appear to be heavy, they are light, yet nearly unbreakable. Guardian Dragons use their tail-shields, as well as their wings, to deflect attacks and protect others. Often, they will guard the eggs and hatchlings of a nest while others are away. They are generally peaceful, and will not retaliate unless necessary. They have no need to forage or hunt, as they are fed by those they protect.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

She is the Guardian Dragon of the ancient ruins of the BlueMoon people. All of the ruins are blue marble and a marvelous full blue moon shines over the ruins every night. It is a truly strange place. The legends say that Lunataria (luna-tar-E-a) would always protect them from harm, war, sickness, and natural disaster. Legend also says one day a monster named Maktokensha (Mak-tok-en-sha) came and put Lunataria into a deep sleep and the marvelous city fell to ruins at the monsters feet. 100 years later Lunataria arose from the terrible sleep to find the city she once protected gone. Some say on the day of the blue moon if you listen closely you can still hear her crying for the loss of her people. She is only visible under the blue moon, which still shines in the ruins at night to this day. On the day of the blue moon (when the monster destroyed her people) she uses her power to make everyone see the blue moon and flies around the world, crying in remembrance.
